Dear Hertie Fellows,
Do you sometimes also feel like an important issue is being neglected in public discourse? Or like a crucial aspect of a given problem is not being addressed?
Then come and join us for our new video series: Elephant in the Room!
This new social media format will give you the opportunity to approach the proverbial elephant in the room, spark new ideas and help shape the public discourse. In order to reach as many people as possible with your message, we will publish your contributions on our social media channels.
To participate, simply record a short video (3 min max.) with your mobile phone and send it to us. In this short tutorial, the filmmaker Jakob Zapf gives you some tips on how to shoot the video (English subtitles have to be activated).
Last but not least:
The first video already online! Jugend Debattiert Fellow Pascal Walther explains, why he considers "Mental Health in Children and Adolescents" to be the elephant in the room. Have a look here.
We look forward to your contributions! You can upload your videos to the usual platforms and then send us the links. The deadline is April 1, 2021. Of course you can send your contributions already before. Please do not hesitate to contact Anna Delius (DeliusA@ghst.de) in case of questions.
