(This event takes place in English.)

As many of you may know, the Hertie School was founded by the Hertie Foundation which is based in Frankfurt am Main. Until today the Hertie Foundation remains the Hertie School’s major partner. The Hertie Foundation also has an office on the 4th floor of the Hertie School building, which works at the interface between Germany’s capital and Frankfurt am Main and maintains a broad network of partners, friends and supporters.

Although we are in the same building, currently there are few possibilities of exchange between Hertie School students and Hertie Foundation employees. For this reason, we would like to invite you to our series of regular lunches on an informal basis in Berlin:

Hertie fellows from Berlin and current students of the Hertie School (MPP, EMPA, MIA and Phd) are cordially invited to the Q Café, Quartier Zukunft (Friedrichstraße 181, 10117 Berlin), 13:00 to 14:00 for a lunch with us.

+ Wed. 13.10.2021
+ Mo. 25.10.2021
+ Wed. 03.11.2021
+ Thur. 18.11.2021
+ Tue. 30.11.2021

NOTE: The links for the different dates will automatically forward you to the fellows & friends online forum where you can register for a specific lunch date. If you are already registered for Hertie Connect, you do not need to create a new account. Click on “Switch to Hertie Foundation” next to your picture and confirm the terms of data use. You will then be able to use the same log-in for Hertie Connect and the fellows & friends online forum.

During the lunch we will introduce you to the Hertie Foundation’s history, our connection with the Hertie School of Governance and tell you more about our current projects in the thematic fields of “Strengthening Democracy” and “Researching the Brain”. In addition, we will tell you more about the activities of the fellows-friends Programme.

The fellows & friends Programme of the Hertie Foundation is an international alumni network of about 5.000 Hertie fellows. As part of our work we offer a variety of activities and opportunities for you to become engaged in. Feel free to ask us questions about German foundations in general, the Hertie Foundation and our projects.

We are looking forward to meeting you and hearing more about your interests and passions!

If you have further questions, please write Alexandra Liebscher (LiebscherA@ghst.de) an e-mail.
