Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Agora auf Englisch stattfindet.

Hertie fellows (18 - 30 years old) are cordially invited to apply for the Budapest European Agora. The Agora consists of 5 days of debates among 130 young Europeans and European leaders and key actors, which will take place in Budapest, from 10 – 14 July 2019.

The Agora aims at empowering citizens to create a better future for Europe and promoting the culture of dialogue and exchange. Young Europeans will convene in Budapest from all over the Continent. Through debates, panels, workshops, and other interactive sessions, we will create a civic space of engagement and exchange for participants: The Agora is an exercise of democracy.

  • Exchange with European leaders and discuss with them the priorities of the next European Legislature.

  • Interact with experts and practitioners working in different fields to reflect upon the most crucial challenges for Europe's future. Engage in hands-on activities to improve your skills.

  • Meet, share stories, and live together for five days with fellow Europeans in the beautiful facilities of the European Youth Centre in Budapest. Part of the activities will take place around the city and you will also have free time to enjoy one of Europe's most vibrant capitals!
